With COVID-19 response and recovery funding available for local governments from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), Coronavirus Relief Fund (CRF), Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Public Assistance (PA), knowing which source to use for what purpose is essential to make effective use of these one-time resources. During this session, representatives from the Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina, the Economic Development Administration, and Hagerty Consulting Inc. will provide an overview of ARPA funding and strategic recommendations, and nationwide best practices for developing a comprehensive COVID-19 economic recovery framework.
