Webinar

To say supply chains have been disrupted by the Coronavirus Crisis is an understatement. Now, more than ever, it is important for companies to carefully manage and leverage every tool at their disposal.

Please join the EDPNC for a webinar discussing Managing Supply Chain Finance During Times of Disruption on Wednesday, June 23, 2021, from 1-2PM EST. We will be joined by Craig Weeks, an independent consultant for organizations needing Trade Finance, Supply Chain, and other Transaction Banking expertise who will cover the role of the financial side of supply chain management and how the finance function interacts with procurement.

This session will also cover the three elements of Supply Chain Finance (SCF) namely accounts receivable discounting, accounts payable discounting and inventory management and will review why companies treat SCF as a strategy versus just a tactic as well as some trends we are seeing in the SCF area. To put this into practice we will review some financial statement basics and how to calculate days payable, days sales, and days inventory, outstanding and why a company’s cash conversion cycle matters.

As you will learn by participating in this webinar, Craig has an extensive background in trade finance and currently serves as an advisor to the Global Trade Professionals Alliance, is an Executive Practicum Adviser within the North Carolina State University Supply Chain Resource Cooperative (SCRC) and is a member of the SCRC Advisory Board. He is a wealth of information and is a fantastic resource for anyone navigating the ins and outs of supply chain management.

To take advantage of this free session, please be sure to register and bring your questions!
