Looking for a great place to launch your startup? Durham and Charlotte are among the Top 10 large cities to start a business in the U.S., according to the personal finance website WalletHub.

WalletHub recently released its list scoring 150 of the most populated U.S. cities in the categories of overall business environment, access to resources and cost of doing business. Charlotte and Durham came in at No. 3 and No. 6, respectively, ahead of the well-known startup powerhouse Austin, Texas (No. 8).

It’s also worth noting that all six North Carolina cities on the list placed well above tech-talented San Francisco (No. 72) and Silicon Valley’s San Jose (No. 70).

Raleigh almost cracked the Top 10, coming in at No. 12. Winston-Salem placed high on the list at No. 17. Fayetteville and Greensboro ranked No. 36 and No. 56, respectively.

So, congratulations to our North Carolina cities on the list and their entrepreneurial spirit.
