Defense Trade Mission to Qatar

The International Trade team at the Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina (EDPNC) is leading a defense-focused delegation to Qatar as part of its mission to help North Carolina companies expand through global opportunities.

Qatar is a strategically important defense market with strong ties to the US and ongoing investments in modernization, advanced manufacturing, aerospace, and cybersecurity. The mission, taking place April 12–16, 2026, is designed to:

• Connect North Carolina businesses with key defense stakeholders in Qatar, including government agencies, procurement officials, and industry leaders
• Support export growth, international partnerships, and market entry for North Carolina-based defense and aerospace companies
• Position North Carolina as a global hub for innovation, technology, and defense supply chain capabilities
• Strengthen economic ties between North Carolina and the Gulf region, creating long-term business development opportunities
