It Pays to Be On Set in North Carolina

Through the North Carolina Film and Entertainment Grant, productions are eligible for a full 25% rebate of direct in-state spending. Qualifying expenses include all labor and purchases and services rendered from in-state vendors.

North Carolina has more than 3,700 highly skilled film professionals across the state. Among the well-versed crew base are 75 members of the International Cinematographers Guild, 26 members of the PGA, and 90 DGA members, and 800+ IATSE members.

Cinespace Studios

This Wilmington studio offers 250,000 SF among 10 column-free stages. Recent clients include Paramount, Amazon, Disney, Netflix, Warner Bros. Discovery, and Lionsgate. The studio facility also contains production support, multiple mills, water facilities and turn-key production offices.

Dark Horse Studios

This soon to be 82,000 sq ft studio’s recent clients include Hallmark, Paramount, and Lionsgate. On site office space and mill shops available, as is an additional annex office space.
