Clearly Clean Products to Invest $24.9M for New Facility in Guilford County, North Carolina

Clearly Clean Products, LLC, a food packaging manufacturer, has announced it has chosen Greensboro, North Carolina, for a new manufacturing facility to increase its production capacity. The company will invest $24.9 million in the facility and will create 80 new jobs in Guilford County.

Clearly Clean Products, LLC, a food packaging manufacturer, has announced it has chosen Greensboro, North Carolina, for a new manufacturing facility to increase its production capacity. The company will invest $24.9 million in the facility and will create 80 new jobs in Guilford County.

“North Carolina has the largest manufacturing workforce in the nation and is consistently recognized as having the top workforce in the country,” said Christopher Chung, CEO of the Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina. “We are proud that companies like Clearly Clean recognize that our state can provide the skilled workforce needed to produce innovative products and contribute to a sustainable economy.”

Clearly Clean, LLC, is a domestic manufacturer that creates eco-friendly products, such as 100% recyclable PET (polyethylene terephthalate) food trays. Clearly Clean’s headquarters is located in Pennsylvania, with operations in Connecticut and Florida. The new facility in Greensboro will allow the company to nearly double its production capacity to meet the needs of its poultry customers. Although wages will vary depending on the position, the average salary for Clearly Clean Products’ new positions will be $59,006, exceeding Guilford County’s average wage of $58,843.

Since December 2023, the EDPNC has worked with state and local entities, providing constant support to consulting teams, assisting in real estate discussions, and working with the North Carolina Department of Commerce on incentives.
