Export Education | International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)

September 23, 2025
Webinar
10:00am

Join us for an Export Education webinar on International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) on Tuesday, September 23, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Program Overview:

Are you compliant with all ITAR regulations? Do you know if you are required to be registered with ITAR? When was the last time you reviewed the US Munitions list (USML) to see if any of your products were on it? Did you know they have “de-classified” many items and moved them from the USML to the less restrictive Commerce Control List (CCL). Domestic manufacturers of ITAR items need to be registered even if they never export directly. Has it been some time since your last training program?

If you are involved in or thinking about exporting defense articles or defense services, this program is for you. Those who are new to exporting military items or just want a refresher should also attend. I hope to see you there!

Topics covered:

  • How do you determine if your product falls under ITAR or the EAR
  • Four ways an export from the US can be licensed
  • ITAR registration
  • What is DECCS?
  • USML Categories
  • Types of licenses
  • Technical data
  • ACE filing details related to ITAR

Who should attend: Traffic managers, purchasing managers, compliance officers, empowered officials, supply chain managers, and anyone involved or concerned with international shipments.
